This beautiful couple met with me at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga NY for their engagement session. It was a warm Summer evening, and we were blessed with some gorgeous golden lighting. They both showed up looking great, and we jumped right into it with some shots by the water. I just love how the sunlight wrapped around them in these shots!

I met up with this beautiful couple for their engagement session at Thacher Park in upstate NY. Thacher Park is where Mark proposed to Jill, so we knew it would be the perfect location. We had a beautiful warm, golden sunset that evening, and we were blessed with some great lighting. They showed up looking great, and we got to work getting some awesome shots.

I met Jillian and Joe at a Panera Bread last winter. Besides being a seriously good looking couple, they were super nice, and their love for one another was evident. I knew we were going to work together amazingly!
We met up at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga Springs, NY on a warm summer evening. Jillian showed up looking fantastic (love her dress!), and Joe showed up ready to make Jillian happy and take some beautiful photos together 🙂
These two made my job pretty darn easy…. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next May at 90 State Events!

The first time I photographed this family, they were just announcing their pregnancy. We met up months later to do maternity photos, and I was thrilled when they contacted me to do an updated family portrait session to include their new addition. We decided to meet up at the beautiful Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga, NY.
When they walked over, I was so excited to meet little miss Lily! She was sporting a big smile, and that is always a good sign. We got started right away…we didn’t want to run out of adorable Lily smiles. As you can see, it paid off:
I actually met Ken back in elementary school. I remember he was in my 4th grade class with Mrs. Reardon. We shared the same friends, and hung out as kids, but I hadn’t seen him in years. When his fiance Meagan contacted me to enter an engagement session contest I was having, I was so happy to see how things had turned out for him. It is evident that they are both head over heels for each other. When they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was stoked.
We met up at the Saratoga Battlefield for their engagement session. The weather had been iffy, and we already had to reschedule once, so we were pleasantly surprised when we were blessed with a beautiful day. We had such a great time; laughing the whole time. It was easy for me to capture the love between them along with genuine emotions from both of them. The sun set was gorgeous that day, and we were blessed with amazing light. We had such an amazing session, and I can not wait to photograph their big day!
I have been photographing these two kiddos for a while now, and I get pretty excited every time their mother contacts me to set up a photo session. They both are so easy to photograph. I mean, I know they’re adorable, but they cooperate so well too! I also love that they call me “Picture Crystal”. Seriously the cutest! (more…)
As 2013 comes to an end, I still can’t believe all of the amazing things that happened, the incredible people I had the honor of working with, and the touching moments I had the privilege of capturing. I have been there as so many of you marry your best friends, I have planned out exciting gender reveal sessions, I have photographed newborn babies and children to help their parents capture a moment in time that passes all too quickly, I have captured families in all of their silliness and beauty…..I still can’t believe that I get to do what I love! I met this lovely lady back before there was a baby bump. I photographed her and her two little boys for Mother’s Day and did a couple of pregnancy announcement photos. I was super excited when she asked me to do a gender reveal photo session for her and her husband. We went to the beautiful Thatcher Park in upstate NY for our session. They came equipped with some fun props in the color to match baby’s gender. We had a wonderful time and I absolutely love the way their photos turned out. I am always very busy planning photo sessions for other people. I absolutely love what I do and put my heart and soul into every photo session. I get so excited planning out the sessions and making or purchasing props. I thought it was about time to do a session with my own little ones. I imagined them in white flowing dresses, with floral head wreaths on, and bear feet… a very boho look. I can get everyone else’s children to cooperate and have a great time, but my kids run from me when they see my camera in my hand. I made sure to let them know ahead of time that this was important to me (and bribed them with ice cream). It was very humid and the bugs were really bothering them, but they did a great job and I am so proud of how their photos came out! I finally have some beautiful photos of my own kiddos! (more…)
