When I first spoke on the phone with Connie last year, I knew the two of us were going to work very well together. She explained that this was a second marriage for both her and her fiance. They each had children from previous marriages, and this would be the joining of each of their families, which was very special to the both of them. I was honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer for her wedding at the Waters Edge Lighthouse.
She wore a gorgeous gown covered in lace and looked absolutely stunning. Her ladies were dressed in black, and looked fabulous carrying red flowers. The men were looking snazzy in their gray suits. The ceremony took place along the patio of the Waters Edge Lighthouse banquet hall over looking the Mohawk River. She was escorted down the aisle by her son and daughter. It was a beautiful ceremony, and a touching joining of two families. Afterwards, we brought their closest friends and family down by the water, which was a beautiful backdrop for some photos. After the family and bridal party formals, I got some beautiful shots of just the two of them. Then, it was party time!
I had such a great time capturing this couple’s special day, and wish them the very best!
