This beautiful maternity photography session took place in downtown Albany NY. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and not too cold. There were still some brightly colored leaves on the trees, so we took advantage of the gorgeous backdrop that they made. During any outside session, I rely heavily on my surroundings to produce beautiful images. In any season, we can create beautiful outside portraits.

This was one of the most fun maternity photography sessions we’ve done in a while! This gorgeous mama to be was so relaxed, and totally up for creating some beautiful art. We chose a quiet location in Guilderland with some lovely foliage for our backdrop. I love photographing outside in the fall! This absolutely stunning mama to be asked me to capture this precious time in her life. We planned the session to take place at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga, NY. It was a very hot and humid evening, which was above average for the end of May. You would not know it by looking at these two! They were so easy to pose, and talk about glowing! I seriously could have photographed the two of them the whole evening…except for the mosquitoes. What an absolutely beautiful session!

This adorable little girl’s parents had come into the studio for a maternity session, so I was super excited to meet her when she arrived for her newborn session! She was wide awake for most of the session, and she was so alert. We got some great shots of her looking right at the camera. She finally fell asleep, and we were able to get some sleepy baby images of her on the beanbag. We did family portraits at the end, and even her grandmother joined in for a photo of 3 generations of ladies, which was so sweet.

When you have a gorgeous mother to be, and a wonderful location, it definitely makes for a super happy me! We wanted to showcase her bump, and make her feel absolutely beautiful while doing so. We have an entire wardrobe of maternity gowns available for our clients to choose from for their session. This mama wore our nude gown with lace detail, our purple gown with a sweetheart neckline, and our adorable two piece set with lace detailing. She totally rocked them all!

This adorable little guy came into the studio with his mom and dad for a newborn session. What a dream he was to photograph! He was so calm and content the whole time. He was just checking everything out, and then snuggled off to sleep. We were able to get such precious photos for his parents to remember this special time in their little guy’s life. (more…)

I met this lovely lady back before there was a baby bump. I photographed her and her two little boys for Mother’s Day and did a couple of pregnancy announcement photos. I was super excited when she asked me to do a gender reveal photo session for her and her husband. We went to the beautiful Thatcher Park in upstate NY for our session. They came equipped with some fun props in the color to match baby’s gender. We had a wonderful time and I absolutely love the way their photos turned out.
