1st Birthday Cake Smash Photography Session

This adorable little girl was in the studio for her newborn session, and her sitter session (here). We love being able to watch her grow! She loves Tinkerbell, and we wanted to celebrate that during her 1st Birthday session, so we created a Tinkerbell themed cake smash set for her. She was a little unsure what to think of the cake, just kind of dipping her fingers in the frosting at first. What a cutie!

Maternity Photography Downtown Albany NY

This beautiful maternity photography session took place in downtown Albany NY. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and not too cold. There were still some brightly colored leaves on the trees, so we took advantage of the gorgeous backdrop that they made. During any outside session, I rely heavily on my surroundings to produce beautiful images. In any season, we can create beautiful outside portraits.

Maternity Photography Session in Fall

This was one of the most fun maternity photography sessions we’ve done in a while! This gorgeous mama to be was so relaxed, and totally up for creating some beautiful art. We chose a quiet location in Guilderland with some lovely foliage for our backdrop. I love photographing outside in the fall! One of the perks of living in NY is being able to have all 4 seasons (I just wish winter wasn’t so long!).   (more…)

Newborn Photography Session – Baby G

This adorable little guy came in with his mom and dad for a newborn session when he was 2 weeks old. I was amazed at how well he slept for such an “old” newborn (most newborn sessions are done in the baby’s first 10 days). He was asleep for most of his newborn session, allowing us to put him into those adorable little poses. His mom and dad jumped in for some family portraits at the end, and we even did a photo honoring his late grandfather. We had a fantastic session, and I can’t wait to see him back for his sitter session. So thankful that his parents signed him up for the Baby Plan, so I get to see him grow!

I just love this image of this sweet little guy honoring his late grandfather. Makes my heart melt.

Newborn Photography Session – Baby N

This sweet little girl was an angel for her entire newborn session. She slept the whole time, and allowed me to pose her so easily. She loved being cuddled up in the wraps, hanging out on the beanbag, and was even happy to lay down with her big sis for a cute sibling shot. We were able to get some family images with her mother and grandmother as well. I just love happy babies!

Children’s Photography Special

Little Sitter Photography Session

This little lady came in for her newborn session last fall, and her parents signed her up for the baby plan. I got to see her again for her 6 month/sitter session, and will see her for her 1st birthday session! She was such a little ham. and was so happy the whole time. When this little sweetie’s parents brought her into the studio for her newborn photography session, I just couldn’t get over how adorable she was!
