Milestone photography sessions are so much fun! The little ones get to show off their new found ability to sit up, their “crawl” position, and their big personalities. For this little girl, we kept a neutral set, and then added in pops of color. The pale pink roses made the set so feminine and beautiful!

This sweet little guy came in with his adoring family for a newborn photography session. His parents were so awesome, and allowed us to film their newborn session for our promo video! It is so amazing seeing behind the scenes clips of an actual session, and then being able to bring the images to life that were created during that session. He was such a content baby, and slept for the whole session. We posed him alone in many different sets, and then added in his big sister who was super excited to pose with her brother! Then we brought the whole family together for some gorgeous family portraits. Just look at these beautiful images:

1st Birthday cake smash sessions are so much fun! We get to start with some adorable traditional portraits, allowing babies to show off their ability to stand up, and their fun loving personalities. When it’s time to switch over to the cake smash set, we bring out the cake, and let them have a ball while we capture it all. This little cutie had a great time, and made it easy for us to capture some fantastic images to celebrate his first birthday! His mom wanted a gold and black “Mr. One-derful” set for his cake smash. I just love how it all came together!

When I found out that these little cuties were coming to the studio for their twin newborn session, I couldn’t wait to meet them! They were born a few weeks early, but they are doing wonderfully. It was pretty clear right from the beginning of the session that they loved being next to one another. As soon as we would set them in a pose together, they would cozy up next to each other and fall asleep. (more…)

We had so much fun celebrating this little girl’s 1st birthday with a Valentine’s Day themed cake smash photo session at the studio! We begin every cake smash session with some adorable, less messy portraits before we bring out the good stuff. I loved her in the bright colored polka dot set with her sweater to match it perfectly, but I also loved the gold and cream set with her birthday romper. Such great choices! She was all smiles, and showed off her ability to be adorable in every photo.

I was super excited to meet this sweet little 4 day old baby girl! She came along with her parents and brother to the studio for a newborn photography session. We chatted about the colors her parents would enjoy seeing in the images, and we created some beautiful portraits of baby and family. I just love seeing a baby girl surrounded by floral designs! This set was one of my favorites. The purple and turquoise looked so nice together!

I met this beautiful little girl’s parents for their maternity photography session in downtown Albany NY, and we had a wonderful time (see that session here). She was so calm, and sleepy for the entire newborn session, allowing us to pose her so beautifully. I was so happy to meet this little cutie after working with his parents for their maternity session (see that here). He was an absolute dream to photograph. This adorable little girl was in the studio for her newborn session, and her sitter session (here). We love being able to watch her grow! She loves Tinkerbell, and we wanted to celebrate that during her 1st Birthday session, so we created a Tinkerbell themed cake smash set for her. She was a little unsure what to think of the cake, just kind of dipping her fingers in the frosting at first. What a cutie!

This beautiful maternity photography session took place in downtown Albany NY. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and not too cold. There were still some brightly colored leaves on the trees, so we took advantage of the gorgeous backdrop that they made. During any outside session, I rely heavily on my surroundings to produce beautiful images. In any season, we can create beautiful outside portraits.
