When I met Jill for the first time, I knew she was someone that I would love to work with. She was so sweet, and the way she talked about Mark made her feelings for him very clear. I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding day! We met up at Thacher Park for their engagement session, and we had a wonderful time. See their engagement session here.
On their wedding day, I arrived to photograph Jill and her ladies getting ready. These photos are always so much fun to photograph. I love capturing all of the little details that go into preparing to walk down the aisle!
At the church, Mark and his men were patiently awaiting the arrival of the ladies. They were looking sharp in their cream colored tuxes. The ceremony was beautiful! Jill was escorted down the aisle by her dad. Look at how happy he looks!
Then it was time to head to the reception at Settles Hill Tree Farm in Altamont, NY. They arrived in style in Jill’s father’s car.

Then it was time for my favorite part of the day…portraits of the bride and groom!
The owner of Settles Hill was nice enough to let us drive Jill’s father’s car right onto the lawn to get this shot! One of my favorites.
Even though the sun was a bit harsh, I love this photo.
But this one is so romantic! Gotta love a fountain for some dramatic shots.
Then we headed inside for the reception. Jill hand made most of the decor at her wedding. I was blown away at her attention to detail, and creativity!
