Meagan and Ken’s Engagement at the Saratoga Battlefield

I actually met Ken back in elementary school. I remember he was in my 4th grade class with Mrs. Reardon. We shared the same friends, and hung out as kids, but I hadn’t seen him in years. When his fiance Meagan contacted me to enter an engagement session contest I was having, I was so happy to see how things had turned out for him. It is evident that they are both head over heels for each other. When they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was stoked.

We met up at the Saratoga Battlefield for their engagement session. The weather had been iffy, and we already had to reschedule once, so we were pleasantly surprised when we were blessed with a beautiful day. We had such a great time; laughing the whole time. It was easy for me to capture the love between them along with genuine emotions from both of them. The sun set was gorgeous that day, and we were blessed with amazing light. We had such an amazing session, and I can not wait to photograph their big day!

Maria and Scott at Mallozzi’s

I met Maria and Scott last year when I photographed Maria and her sister. When she sent me an email announcing that they had set a date for their wedding, and wanted to ask me to be their photographer, I was super excited!

We met up to discuss wedding details, and Maria and Scott told me about their wedding theme. They are fans of different football teams, the Patriots, and the Jets, and their wedding was going to celebrate their playful opposition.

When I arrived at Mallozzi’s on their wedding day, I was greeted by Maria, and her ladies. I photographed the ladies getting ready, while my second photographer photographed the men. (more…)

Portrait Session in Troy NY | Albany NY Photographer

I have been photographing these two kiddos for a while now, and I get pretty excited every time their mother contacts me to set up a photo session. They both are so easy to photograph. I mean, I know they’re adorable, but they cooperate so well too!  I also love that they call me “Picture Crystal”. Seriously the cutest! (more…)

Jaclyn and Liam at the Altamont Manor

I had the pleasure of photographing Jaclyn and Liam’s beautiful garden wedding last September. They chose the Altamont Manor as the location for their wedding day. The flowers were in bloom, and the grounds were beautifully kept. White chairs were circled around the altar in the garden where the ceremony took place. The two of them shared an emotional first look on the porch of the manor, overlooking the garden. (more…)

Connie and Mike at the Water’s Edge Lighthouse

When I first spoke on the phone with Connie last year, I knew the two of us were going to work very well together. She explained that this was a second marriage for both her and her fiance. They each had children from previous marriages, and this would be the joining of each of their families, which was very special to the both of them. I was honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer for her wedding at the Waters Edge Lighthouse. (more…)

Gender Reveal at Thacher Park

I met this lovely lady back before there was a baby bump. I photographed her and her two little boys for Mother’s Day and did a couple of pregnancy announcement photos. I was super excited when she asked me to do a gender reveal photo session for her and her husband. We went to the beautiful Thatcher Park in upstate NY for our session. They came equipped with some fun props in the color to match baby’s gender. We had a wonderful time and I absolutely love the way their photos turned out. Now that they have had a chance to reveal the gender to their friends and family, I can announce it. They are having a…. (more…)

Courtney and John at the Franklin Plaza

When Courtney and John asked me to be their photographer for their wedding at the Franklin Plaza, I was super excited. Not only are they a great looking couple that I knew would photograph beautifully, but the love between the two of them was evident. We met up at Thacher Park for their engagement session and got to spend a little time getting to know each other and getting them ready for being in front of my camera on their big day. I highly recommend engagement sessions for this reason. I love showing up at a wedding and feeling more like a friend than a stranger! (more…)

A Boho Inspired Photo Session at Thacher Park

I am always very busy planning photo sessions for other people. I absolutely love what I do and put my heart and soul into every photo session. I get so excited planning out the sessions and making or purchasing props. I thought it was about time to do a session with my own little ones. I imagined them in white flowing dresses, with floral head wreaths on, and bear feet… a very boho look. I can get everyone else’s children to cooperate and have a great time, but my kids run from me when they see my camera in my hand. I made sure to let them know ahead of time that this was important to me (and bribed them with ice cream). It was very humid and the bugs were really bothering them, but they did a great job and I am so proud of how their photos came out! I finally have some beautiful photos of my own kiddos! (more…)
