Milestone photography sessions are so much fun! The little ones get to show off their new found ability to sit up, their “crawl” position, and their big personalities. For this little girl, we kept a neutral set, and then added in pops of color. The pale pink roses made the set so feminine and beautiful!

This sweet little guy came in with his adoring family for a newborn photography session. His parents were so awesome, and allowed us to film their newborn session for our promo video! It is so amazing seeing behind the scenes clips of an actual session, and then being able to bring the images to life that were created during that session. He was such a content baby, and slept for the whole session. We posed him alone in many different sets, and then added in his big sister who was super excited to pose with her brother! Then we brought the whole family together for some gorgeous family portraits. Just look at these beautiful images:

1st Birthday cake smash sessions are so much fun! We get to start with some adorable traditional portraits, allowing babies to show off their ability to stand up, and their fun loving personalities. When it’s time to switch over to the cake smash set, we bring out the cake, and let them have a ball while we capture it all. This little cutie had a great time, and made it easy for us to capture some fantastic images to celebrate his first birthday! His mom wanted a gold and black “Mr. One-derful” set for his cake smash. I just love how it all came together!

When I found out that these little cuties were coming to the studio for their twin newborn session, I couldn’t wait to meet them! They were born a few weeks early, but they are doing wonderfully. It was pretty clear right from the beginning of the session that they loved being next to one another. As soon as we would set them in a pose together, they would cozy up next to each other and fall asleep. (more…)

I was super excited to meet this sweet little 4 day old baby girl! She came along with her parents and brother to the studio for a newborn photography session. We chatted about the colors her parents would enjoy seeing in the images, and we created some beautiful portraits of baby and family. I just love seeing a baby girl surrounded by floral designs! This set was one of my favorites. The purple and turquoise looked so nice together!

This adorable little girl was in the studio for her newborn session, and her sitter session (here). We love being able to watch her grow! She loves Tinkerbell, and we wanted to celebrate that during her 1st Birthday session, so we created a Tinkerbell themed cake smash set for her. She was a little unsure what to think of the cake, just kind of dipping her fingers in the frosting at first. What a cutie!

This adorable little guy came in with his mom and dad for a newborn session when he was 2 weeks old. I was amazed at how well he slept for such an “old” newborn (most newborn sessions are done in the baby’s first 10 days). He was asleep for most of his newborn session, allowing us to put him into those adorable little poses. His mom and dad jumped in for some family portraits at the end, and we even did a photo honoring his late grandfather. We had a fantastic session, and I can’t wait to see him back for his sitter session. So thankful that his parents signed him up for the Baby Plan, so I get to see him grow!

This sweet little girl was an angel for her entire newborn session. She slept the whole time, and allowed me to pose her so easily. She loved being cuddled up in the wraps, hanging out on the beanbag, and was even happy to lay down with her big sis for a cute sibling shot. We were able to get some family images with her mother and grandmother as well. I just love happy babies!

This beautiful family came to the studio for a portrait session. They had just welcomed a baby boy to their family, and wanted to capture some portraits to celebrate this time. Their sweet little boy’s big sister was so nurturing and caring to her little brother, it was so adorable to watch!

This sweet little guy’s parents came in for a maternity photography session to capture images before he arrived. They were so anxiously awaiting his arrival. I couldn’t wait to meet him when they let me know that he had arrived! He was such a little peanut, and he slept like a dream.
