This is my best friend’s family. I have known these guys for so long, and I remember when it was just the two of them. Now they’re a family of 6! We went down to the gorgeous Washington Park in Albany, NY on a Spring evening to do a family portrait session. This absolutely stunning mama to be asked me to capture this precious time in her life. We planned the session to take place at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga, NY. It was a very hot and humid evening, which was above average for the end of May. You would not know it by looking at these two! They were so easy to pose, and talk about glowing! I seriously could have photographed the two of them the whole evening…except for the mosquitoes. What an absolutely beautiful session!

This adorable little girl’s parents had come into the studio for a maternity session, so I was super excited to meet her when she arrived for her newborn session! She was wide awake for most of the session, and she was so alert. We got some great shots of her looking right at the camera. She finally fell asleep, and we were able to get some sleepy baby images of her on the beanbag. We did family portraits at the end, and even her grandmother joined in for a photo of 3 generations of ladies, which was so sweet.

When you have a gorgeous mother to be, and a wonderful location, it definitely makes for a super happy me! We wanted to showcase her bump, and make her feel absolutely beautiful while doing so. We have an entire wardrobe of maternity gowns available for our clients to choose from for their session. This mama wore our nude gown with lace detail, our purple gown with a sweetheart neckline, and our adorable two piece set with lace detailing. She totally rocked them all!

This sweet little guy came in for a newborn photography session with his family, who were clearly over the moon about him! We started the session, and he got him snuggled into a basket of fur where he started to dose off. Just as I was able to grab a few shots of the adorable set, we started to see smoke outside of the studio window. Turns out there was a car on fire in the parking lot right outside the window! We ended up having to evacuate the building while the firemen came and put the fire out. After about 20 minutes we were cleared to go back in and finish the session. Talk about a crazy turn of events! Thankfully, we were able to pick up where we left off, and this little cutie let us get some great photos! His big brother was such a great sport as well. (more…)

This adorable little guy came into the studio with his mom and dad for a newborn session. What a dream he was to photograph! He was so calm and content the whole time. He was just checking everything out, and then snuggled off to sleep. We were able to get such precious photos for his parents to remember this special time in their little guy’s life. (more…)

Trilby and Clark were married at the beautiful Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga NY on a beautiful September day. I arrived at her hotel to find Trilby and her ladies having a great time getting ready. I just love capturing bridal preparation photos! I love all of the little details that go into a wedding. The shoes, the jewelry, the flowers, and of course the dress!

Jessica and Steve got married at the beautiful Glen Sanders Mansion on a gorgeous September day. After the killer engagement session we did together (see that session here), I could not wait to see what their wedding day would be like! Jessica’s attention to detail is amazing, so I was really looking forward to seeing her dress, flowers, decor, etc. I knew that these two made a perfect couple, and that the photos we captured were going to be amazing, but wow is all I can say.
